Colin has been working for over 20 years in the TMT industry. He has extensive experience in R&D, consulting, and management positions at Microsoft, Ericsson, Nokia, Toronto Transit Commission (TTC), Sony Ericsson. Colin has successfully founded, led and managed a number of high-tech small-mid size enterprises in China, and Canada in the fields of cloud computing, mobile internet, artificial intelligence, and Internet of Things. He holds dual bachelor’s degrees in engineering from Shanghai Jiaotong University as well as a Master’s degree in applied science from the Canadian University of British Columbia (UBC).

His rich experience in bringing IT services and industrial products cross-border, and his network in the Chinese VC industry can be very helpful for startups having an interest in getting investment in China.  

His motivation for being a mentor is to support entrepreneurs in their borderless growth.
